"Central Intelligence" stars Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Amy Ryan, and Aaron Paul. Released on June 17, 2016, the film has two high school friends teaming up to save the world when one of them becomes a CIA agent. The film is directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, who also directed films such as DodgeBall: A True Underdog Story and We're the Millers. Let's just get this out of the way. I love Dwayne Johnson, and I love Kevin Hart. Putting these two together in one film is like putting popcorn and ice cream together in one bowl. That sounds a bit disgusting, but you know what I mean. I was very intrigued in seeing this film. Not because of the premise, but because of the main actors. So you're probably wondering what I thought of this latest action-comedy. To be honest, it was really funny. A bit dumb, but funny. Pros: Good performances throughout. Astounding chemistry between Johnson and Hart. The humor was well-timed and hilarious. Themes about friendship. Cons: The story's a bit predictable. Doesn't offer anything new to the buddy-comedy formula. Final thoughts: Despite being formulaic, "Central Intelligence" is a laugh riot from beginning to end. Thanks to its entertaining, yet predictable, premise and some great chemistry between Johnson and Hart, I guarantee that it will tickle your funny bones the same way it did to mine. If you're a fan of the two main actors, I would say it's worth a watch. B

My thoughts exactly, nearly identical to my review. Liked it a lot, as much as you. :)
